Here is just a taster of some of the fabulous reviews by guests who stayed at Sterling House in 2017 !
“Lovely house with features, plenty of room for two families. The location is prefect, and the house had so much space. It must be lovely in the summer as well!”

“Ideal holiday destination for big family gathering. Big comfortable house that easily accommodated our party of 9 plus a baby and two dogs. The bedrooms are spacious and spread over three floors and all were clean and really comfortable. The dining room is particularly grand and was a great venue for an early Christmas feast. Parking for four cars behind the house. We enjoyed good food and drink in the local pub and hotel. Lovely beach walk to Penzance and lot of places to visit locally. A good time was had by all.”

“Fantastic holiday spent here with family from England, Jersey and New Zealand after five years apart and a new baby in tow! Lovely house, loved the dining room which was the prefect setting for our early Christmas Day dinner as we will be back in sunny NZ in December. Great location and easy to get to other locations in Cornwall. Hopefully we may return one day to make more happy memories here. Great place for a family reunion.”

“We have just spent a lovely family holiday in this incredible house, we all loved the quirkiness. It really is stunning, beautifully decorated rooms mixing old and new, and a magical garden. Steps away from the sea front and the magnificent St Michael’s Mount. We have had a fantastic holiday and made lots of new memories.”

“Great location and fun house. Steps from the beach, Mount and Godolphin Arms. Lots of room and everything worked. Games, TVs etc for a rainy day. Parking a definite plus in Marazion. It’s well maintained and exactly as described. Easy to recommend. Fantastic location for kids. We spent most days digging on the beach, exploring the copious rock pools, taking boats to the island and climbing the Mount. All steps from the house. For food, the Trevelyan Farm Shop (5 minutes drive) has most things and Quayside Fish (10 minutes drive) in Porthleven were able to source wonderful fresh fish and shellfish. Across the road, the Godolphin Arms was the lazy option for breakfast, lunch or dinner with incredible views. Further away, the Gurnard’s Head was easily the best food of the trip and the coastal path nearby is incredible on a sunny day. Owner was very easy to work with and quick to respond to every question.”
