Rutherglen is a characterful, detached holiday cottage just a few minutes stroll from the beach at Porthallow a picturesque small fishing village on the east coast of the beautiful Lizard peninsula. The beach at Porthallow is dog friendly and great for those who love rock pooling and kayaking.
The traditional village pub, the Five Pilchards, is 200 metres away from Rutherglen and for those that enjoy diving, The Manacles rocks are just off the coast, a spot which has caused many shipwrecks throughout the years. The South West Coast Path, surrounding countryside and attractive moorland is great for walking and Porthallow is well placed for visiting the creeks on the Helford River and nearby coastal villages and beaches at Coverack and Porthoustock. The surfing fraternity will head for the nearby glorious sandy beach at Kennack Sands.
The cottage has a spacious living/dining room, with the kitchen leading off the dining area. The living area has the addition of a log burner for those cosy evenings in. There is a great addition of a second sitting room with another TV for those who like a pocket of privacy. The master bedroom is a double and on the ground floor along with the family bathroom and separate wet room. Bedroom two is a double and bedroom three a twin, these bedrooms can both be found on the first floor.
This charming holiday home has terraced gardens with a deck and BBQ, well behaved pets are welcome and there is off road parking.
