Pure Cornwall are delighted to add Higher Close to our portfolio, this stylish detached property overlooks the sea at Mawgan Porth on the North Coast of Cornwall. Sitting in it’s own beautiful grounds with views across the bay and a footpath from the garden down to the beach, this modern luxury house is the perfect place to spend your holiday in Cornwall.
Mawgan Porth beach boasts golden sands and is surrounded by beautiful coastline, there is ample sand for everyone to enjoy rock pooling, swimming, surfing or simply relaxing. The village itself has everything you need to enjoy a great holiday, including a seafood bistro, family friendly pub and restaurant. Just a short distance away is the fishing port of Padstow with a picturesque harbour and plethora of independent shops and restaurants. Newquay with world renowned beaches and surfing culture is also a 10 minute drive.
The living area at Higher Close is open plan and has a great sense of space with large comfortable sofas, log burner, pull down cinema screen with Sky+ and a selection of DVD’s and board games. This wonderful living space opens onto the terrace and garden through bi fold doors.
The kitchen is also thoughtfully equipped with high quality appliances, including a large Miele fridge freezer, dishwasher and a working Aga. The adjacent dining area is complete with a TV, solid oak table and chairs. The ground floor also accommodates a cloakroom, study and utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and wet suit hangers.
The master bedroom on the first floor is furnished with a king size bed, dressing room, en suite shower room and balcony with wonderful coastal views. Bedroom two is on the ground floor, also with a king size bed and en suite with a large bath and walk in shower. This bedroom opens onto the terrace through bi fold doors. The third bedroom is a twin and on the first floor with coastal views from the balcony, en suite shower room, TV, Bluetooth speaker and a Nintendo Wii console with games. Bedroom four is a double and on the ground floor with an en suite shower room and bi fold doors out onto the terrace.
The gardens at Higher Close are stunning with a lawn established plants and palm trees a perfect place to enjoy a barbeque or use the built in pizza oven after a day on the beach. At the bottom of the garden is a games room with a pool table and sofa. The gate to the beach path is accessed next to the games room, although with everything on offer you may never want to leave Higher Close.
There is off road parking for two cars at the front of the property.
