September is Mother & Baby time with great offers from Pure Cornwall
Her we give a few tips on holiday travel for families coming to cornwall...Travel toys for babies are generally similar to those that you would use at home. They need to be safe, easy to keep clean, dispensable, impossible to swallow, safe, without sharp corners and attention grabbing. Anything that plays music can be a help in distracting children if they are distressed and help getting them to sleep. Things that are interesting to look at will always be great for babies as well as teething toys and toys that they can hold and rattle. Have a look also at our article on car games for babies.

A mobile or interesting play mat to distract either over the cot or in the car may also be a good investment. Remember that young babies tend to drop things on a regular basis and where possible you should try to attach them in a safe and secure way.

Top tips for toys to entertaining your baby when travelling

Toys with sound effects
Teething rings
Mirrors and rattles
Shape sorters
Wrist and sock rattles
A puppet for your hands or fingers
Happy travelling!!!!!

Surf gone flat? Surf report got it wrong again? Click here!

By generating a thin sheet of water, no more than 3 inches deep, that flows over a stationary wave, you can carve & turn, ride up & slide down the simulated wave surface.

The Flow Rider at The Loop gives you the experience of surfing, skateboarding & snowboarding in a self-contained & safe environment.

With our bar area, restaurant, shop and changing facilities located at The Loop you can use the Flow Rider, grab a bite to eat or just get a drink and relax in a Fat Boy giant bean bag and watch all the action.

Enjoyed by both spectators & participants, the Flow Rider is a fully interactive skilled sport in the exciting world of aquatic recreation. The Flow Rider at The Loop allows you to surf even when the sea is flat.

Regardless of age & skill levels, the thrill of surfing a wave can be experienced by parents, teenagers & children alike. With a little patience & practice, everyone can enjoy the thrill of surfing, learn the skills of snowboarding & the tricks of skateboarding!
